The GS4000 Packaging by Weight System consists of:

• Two parallel electronic scales of variable weight capacity
• Two hoppers
• A silo
• Two to four electro-magnetic gates
  

The system is capable of generating accurate weights in a fraction of a second. The accuracy is inversly proportional to the speed of packaging.  The system can be coupled to automatic package feeds and heat press sealers.

• Packages bushels to the set weight with high accuracy and productively.
• Has an accuracy of ±20 gm, with a maximum capacity of 20 packages per minute.
• Can change the set point to pack more than one package with different weights (from 5 kg to 100 kg.
• Can modify and eliminate weight inaccuracies that might happen during the process of production to reach the required weighing accuracy.
• System Components :
  1. The mechanical system consisting of a hopper & hopper gates, a package holder, and a silo controlled by pneumatic valves
• Contains pneumatic valves, which benefits sich as provides a faster operation, lower upkeeping cost, and reduced maintenance

• The control unit uses PLC modules, an innovative technlogoy that provides a fast response to inputs/outputs, easy maintenance, and long operation life.
• The Control Panel allows manual operation of the system in case of PLC failure or scale failure, ensuring a continuous production line.
• The control panel is supplemented by a 24 V power supply to power the PLC and control circuitry.
• The panel is secured with a circuit breaker to ensure maximum protection.
• The panel door contains all the required push buttons and indicators to fully operate the two scales.
